UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE
takes part in the in the European project METALS  (Machine Tool Alliance for Skills), which has as its objectives.

The European metal-working machine tools industry is a key part of the manufacturing sector, able to provide innovative, "customized" and high quality products.

The competitiveness of its products is based on the knowledge, skills and competencies of the companies’ employees.

Emerging technologies such as Additive Manufacturing open up new opportunities and challenges for the sector. To take advantage of these new technologies and seize the opportunities, workers and enterprises need to develop the expertise to convert their ideas into action, which involves creativity and innovation.

In order to help companies master these technologies, UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE takes part in the in the European project METALS  (Machine Tool Alliance for Skills), which has as its objectives:

develop a detailed analysis about the current and future employment (the benchmark is 2025) and the business skills needed for the sector, in line with emerging technologies;

raise employee awareness about the importance of their professional curriculum and lifelong learning;

support the education and training policies in line with European standards.
